Our Priorities

Our priorities are to

  • reduce the numbers of young people not participating in education, training or employment and thereby support the local economy
  • ensure that young people in Manchester, Rochdale, Salford and Tameside are aware of Connexions, the support it can provide and how to access services
  • offer every young person aged 13 to 19 access to a Personal Adviser and to a seamless range of careers guidance and other advice services that meet individual need
  • increase the numbers of employment opportunities we offer to young people
  • track the activities and destinations of all young people in our cohort.
