

Local student picks careers resources for his school… Better Choices recently held their annual careers resources exhibition inviting students and teachers from local schools to attend. Young people are given the opportunity to came along and select which careers resources they want in their schools and colleges, and to find out more about specific career options.
Careers teacher Helen Roberts a teacher at Burnage High School in Manchester came to the event with one of her students, to choose which careers multi-media and publications he wished to see in his school which would benefit his classmates and other students.
Hamza (aged 15) from Burnage High School said, “There’s lots of careers information, not just books, but web-pages, videos and games that help make lessons more exciting”. “I’m really interested in IT and computing jobs. I found there was loads of information and computer software that helped me learn more about the computing industry”.
