Connexions is the statutory youth support service for all young people 13 – 19, and to 25 for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in England. Nationally Connexions is the responsibility of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
Better Choices delivers the Connexions Service in three local authority areas: Manchester, Rochdale, Salford and Tameside.
A Connexions Manager whose role is to work with partner organisations to develop and implement strategic and delivery plans in the local authority area manages each Service.
There are other Connexions services in the Greater Manchester area.
